Cloth-bound New Zealand Style Cheddar Pressed from whole pasteurized cow and goat milk.


Cave Aged Chandoka is a 70% cow and 30% goat milk blend, creating a unique flavor profile.  The wheels have an earthy aroma with vegetable undertones while the rich dense fudgy interior suggests complex butter, citrus and grass notes.   This cheese evolves throughout its life cycle.


Tasting notes: Earthy and well balanced with rich butter, citrus and grass notes, growing more complex with age.

Use & Pairing Suggestions

Slice, shred, cube.  This complex cheddar can be used in place of any traditional cheddar.  Cave Aged Chandoka stands alone on the finest of cheese boards, and is versatile as an ingredient, adding strength and depth to any recipe.

Beer:  Saison, Dry Ciders, Red Ale, Double IPA

Wine:  Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon
